How Preclari handles your information. We keep this short and plain.

Last updated: 1 June 2026.

1. Who we are

Preclari ("Preclari", "we", "us", "our") is based in Basel, Switzerland. We build an AI-preflight layer for workflows entering regulated processes, and we publish PIF, an open specification, alongside it. This policy explains what information we handle when you visit preclari.com, contact us, or use the demo and product.

We are a small early-stage team. This is a plain-language policy meant to be honest about a deliberately small data footprint; we will expand it as the product and company grow.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. Your name, email address, company, and role when you request access, sign up, book a preflight, or email us.
  • Demo and product inputs. The workflow details you submit to the demo or product so we can produce a preflight assessment for you (see section 4).
  • Technical data. Basic request information such as IP address, browser, and device type, handled by our hosting provider to serve and secure the site.

3. Analytics and cookies

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand which pages are useful. Umami does not use tracking cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not follow you across other sites. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we ever add cookie-based analytics or another provider, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

4. The demo and product

When you use the demo or product, you send us workflow details and we process them to generate a preflight assessment (a PIF document) and return it to you. We process these inputs only to provide and improve the service. We do not sell them, and we do not use your inputs to train third-party models. Please do not put real patient data, trade secrets, or other sensitive confidential information into the public demo; use representative or synthetic examples instead.

5. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, secure, and improve the site, demo, and product.
  • To respond to you and manage access requests and onboarding.
  • To understand aggregate usage so we can make the product better.
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the site and product (for example hosting and email), under confidentiality terms and only as needed, or where the law requires it.

7. Storage and security

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep our footprint small and our safeguards appropriate to the data.

8. International transfers

We are based in Switzerland and may use service providers in the EU/EEA and elsewhere. Where data crosses borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) consistent with Swiss and EU law.

9. Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local supervisory authority.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the product and company evolve. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear.

11. Contact
